Islamabad: PTI senator Faisal Javed in Senate has called for investigation into the matter of disappearance of pictures of Quaid-e-Azam from official advertisements.

Talking on point of order Senator Faisal Javed said on Friday in Senate government of Pakistan has printed pictures of all in its advertisement except picture of Quaid-e-Azam.

We pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam and we have brought picture of Quaid-e-Azam with us today in the house.

We have to establish justice in this country and have to make Pakistan a country of Quaid-e-Azam.

Government has removed picture of Quaid-e-Azam from advertisements. This is shameful act.

Government has eroded credibility of awards at national level, he said.

He called upon government to explain its position in the house with reference to Quaid-e-Azam.

Federal minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar said different institutions give advertisements on Jashn-e-Azadi. If any such thing has happened then inquiry will be held.
