Lahore: Punjab government has decided to give big relief to people in the prices of oil and ghee during the holy month of Ramazan.
Under the directives of special assistant Salma Butt, DG Food Authority Asim Javed met with ghee mills owners and it was decided that relief amounting to Rs 10 to 16 per kilo/ litter packet will be given to the people during the holy month of Ramazan.
Special assistant Salma Butt said quality ghee will be available in the market at concessional rate during the holy month of Ramazan.
DG Punjab food authority said there is need to introduce modern system in the market to provide quality ghee.
Recommendations have been sought from ghee mills owners to further improve quality of ghee.
Chairman Ghee Mills Association Asjid Arif said we are grateful to food authority for crack down on fake mafias.
