Lahore: Punjab government will export 10 lac cattle. A special video link meeting was held under Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz and important decisions were taken in the meeting.

Provincial live stock minister Ashiq Hussain Kirmani informed the meeting abbot live stock related steps in Punjab. Ashiq Hussain Kirmani while giving briefing told the participants of the meeting that Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) have been signed with 7 institutions including Chinese company for promoting meat export in Karachi.
Global meat company of China will install boiler unit in Punjab in collaboration with PAMCO. Boiled meat will be prepared for export at large scale through it.
Meat companies will import meat of 3 lac cattle which is ready for import.
Target for fattening 3 lac buffaloes and cows and 3 lac rams has been fixed .
It has been decided to introduce mechanization in live stock farming sector for the first time under which government will provide machinery on 60 percent subsidy.
State of the art veterinary hospital will be set up in every Tehsil of Punjab. 4 Mobile veterinary dispensaries will work in every tehsil for treatment of the cattle.
CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has doubled the quota of free cattle for rural women.
It was told in the meeting that 9255 free cattle were given to widows and divorced women in 12 districts of South Punjab.
