Peshawar: Quake tremors were felt in Peshawar and its surrounding areas Wednesday creating panic among the people.
People rushed out of their homes reciting Kalima Tayyaba.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.7 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was located in Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. Its depth was 211 kilometer beneath the surface.
However no loss to life or property has been reported so far. Rescue and district administration is keeping watch over the situation.
