Malakand: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the incompetent rulers are turning away from one of the most important responsibilities - education - and are determined to push the future of millions of children into darkness. The country's situation is discouraging the youth. He said education and employment are not among the rulers' priorities. The federal and provincial governments are busy in infighting and photo sessions. He emphasized that for the progress and prosperity of the country, education must be provided under one system, one curriculum, and one language.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing male and female students enrolled in free IT courses under the Bano Qabil Program at the Malakand Sports Complex. Provincial Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North Inayatullah Khan, Secretary General Syed Haleem Bacha, Provincial President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Fazal Mahmood, General Secretary Alkhidmat North Dr. Khalid Farooq, and District Emir Malakand Shahab Hussain also addressed the gathering. Deputy Secretary General Syed Farasat Shah and Umair Idrees were also present on the occasion.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that more than 25 million children in the country are out of school, out of which 5 million are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hundreds of schools in the Malakand Division have dilapidated buildings, yet the government is preoccupied with other matters.

Addressing the youth, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that neither the establishment nor the bureaucracy has the right to decide the fate of the people; these decisions belong to the elected representatives of the public. The government is creating hurdles in the way of local body elections. He stated that freeing the country from feudal lords, the elite class, and the grip of the IMF, as well as eliminating the interest-based economy, is their goal.

'This country doesn't belong to any general, Nawaz Sharif, or Asif Ali Zardari - it belongs to the 250 million people of Pakistan and its youth,' he declared. 'Along with free IT courses, we will also provide scholarships for degree programs, including opportunities abroad.'

He said the gathering of thousands of young people is a declaration to illuminate the nation with the light of knowledge. He invited the youth to attend the public gathering of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on November 21, 22, and 23, calling it a revolutionary event that would decide the country's future. 'This gathering is taking place under the slogan 'Change the System.' Together with the youth, we will overthrow this oppressive system imposed on the nation.'

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further said that due to the growing interest and number of students, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has increased its target for free IT courses from 1 million to 2 million students, as 1.1 million young people have already registered. Despite having resources, governments have ignored 60% of the country's youth. Education has been turned into a business, with ever-increasing fees.

'Young people have every right to question the rulers why they are being deprived of education and their future is being darkened,' he said. 'Currently, the country's IT exports stand at 3.5 billion dollars. With the help of the youth, we will raise this to 15 billion dollars. Students who perform exceptionally in these courses will be provided opportunities for higher education abroad through scholarships.'

Emir JI added, 'The Bano Qabil Program is a game-changer and a program of hope. Through it, we will pull the youth out of the darkness of despair and into the light of knowledge," he concluded.
