Raja Najabat Hussain discusses human rights violations in IoJK with Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir

Islamabad: Raja Najabat Hussain, Sitara-i-Pakistan and Founding Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International, called on Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, in his chamber at the Parliament House, Islamabad.

Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defence, Fateh Ullah Khan, and the Director General of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir were also present during the meeting.

The participants held a comprehensive discussion on the Kashmir issue, including the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IoJK), the importance of sustained international advocacy, and the role of the Pakistani diaspora in highlighting the plight of the Kashmiri people.

They also reviewed the preparations and objectives of the Committee's upcoming delegation visit to the United Kingdom, aiming to engage with British parliamentarians, civil society, and Kashmiri communities abroad to strengthen global support for the Kashmiri cause. The current regional situation and its implications for the Kashmir dispute were also thoroughly examined during the meeting.
