Lahore: On the Directions of CM Punjab Maryam nawaz sharif special Preparations for the Ramadan Nigehban Package 2025 are in full swing. Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Price Control, Salma Butt has chaired a meeting to review preparation across Punjab. Secretary Price Control and Commodities Management, Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti has briefed the participants regarding steps was taking to launch nigehban package. President Bank of Punjab, Zafar Masood, Chairman PITB, Faisal Yousaf, and representative from other departments participated in the meeting. Chairman PITB briefed about the process of data collection and method of short listing of deserving individuals.

President of the Bank of Punjab provided insights on transparency in the distribution of pay orders. On this occasion, Salma Butt emphasized that pay orders will be delivered to beneficiaries through Pakistan Post. She further stated that, as per the Chief Minister's directions, a relief package will be provided to 3 million families, ensuring the transfer of Rs. 10,000 directly to deserving individuals via banks at their doorsteps. Secretary Price Control and Commodities Management, Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti, highlighted the need to enhance the joint strategy of all departments, by ensuring transparency in the transfer of funds. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Bank of Punjab, Pakistan Post, Punjab Social Protection Authority, and PITB.
