Ramadan ration gifts will be distributed among more than 2,000 families under the auspices of Alkhidmat Women Trust: Saba Saqib

Lahore: Saba Saqib, President of Alkhidmat Women Trust Lahore, has said that in view of the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the formal packing of Ramadan ration gift packages has begun under the auspices of Alkhidmat Women Trust. Hundreds of students from local schools participated in this packing drive, while students of Jamia Al-Muhsinat and Deaf Foundation were also seen enthusiastically taking part alongside their teachers.

The objective of the Ramadan gift initiative is to support deserving, underprivileged, and self-respecting families so that they too may fully benefit from the blessings and bounties of the holy month of Ramadan. Saba Saqib stated that this year, more than 2,000 families will receive Ramadan ration gift packages under the auspices of Alkhidmat Women Trust. These packages include basic, high-quality food items for daily use, aimed at easing arrangements for sehri and iftar for deserving families.

She said that Ramadan is a month of good deeds, compassion, and selflessness, and that Alkhidmat Women Trust, as in previous years, continues to stand alongside the weaker segments of society. 'Our goal is not merely to provide rations, but to offer support while safeguarding the dignity and self-respect of needy families,' she added.

The President of Alkhidmat Women Trust appealed to philanthropists, donors, and well-off individuals to actively participate in this charitable cause so that the joys of Ramadan may reach as many deserving families as possible. She emphasized that this mission can only be successfully accomplished with public cooperation.

In conclusion, Saba Saqib said that Alkhidmat Women Trust remains committed to expanding the scope of its welfare activities in the future and considers serving the needy during the month of Ramadan to be both a religious and social responsibility.
