Lahore: A dignified reception ceremony was held in honor of Noor-ul-Islam, President of Islami Chhatra Shibir Bangladesh at the green lawns of Islamia College Civil Lines, organized by Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, Lahore.
The event was attended by a large number of students, activists, and office-bearers of the organization, including Abdullah Abbas, Nazim of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Lahore, along with students from various educational institutions.
Addressing the gathering, Noor-ul-Islam said that the struggle for the imposition of Islam is the greatest and most enduring struggle in human history, requiring steadfastness, sacrifice, patience, and perseverance. He stated that from the time of the Prophets (peace be upon them) to the present day, the bearers of truth have continued striving for the supremacy of Islam despite hardships, trials, and sacrifices.
Noor-ul-Islam remarked that in Bangladesh, the Islamic movement-and particularly the workers of Islami Chhatra Shibir-have remained committed to their ideol
ogy, character, and missionary mission despite difficult circumstances, political pressure, and various challenges. He said that the history of Islami Chhatra Shibir is marked by sacrifice, steadfastness, and the intellectual and moral development of youth, with its members consistently focusing on education, preaching, and character-building.
Referring to the struggle of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, he emphasized that the success of movements is not determined by immediate results but by continuous effort, patience, and adherence to principles. He added that history bears witness to the fact that periods of trial often become a source of renewed strength and direction for nations and movements.
He urged young people to equip themselves with knowledge, strong character, and organizational awareness, and to utilize their abilities for positive change in society. He noted that students are the future of any nation and that outstanding academic performance combined with ideological commitment forms the foundati
on of true leadership.
On the occasion, Abdullah Abbas, Nazim of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Lahore, welcomed the guest of honor and said that intellectual, educational, and missionary ties between the youth of Pakistan and Bangladesh play an important role in promoting the unity of the Muslim Ummah and developing a shared consciousness. The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the steadfastness of workers of Islamic movements, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and the moral development of the younger generation.
