RIVERS FLOWS AND RESERVOIRS LEVEL REPORT

Islamabad: The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:

Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 193600 cusecs and Outflows 150700 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 24600 cusecs and Outflows 24600 cusecs, Khairabad Bridge: Inflows 167700 cusecs and Outflows 167700, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 34300 cusecs and Outflows 20000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 70300 cusecs and Outflows 37900 cusecs.

Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 185500 cusecs and Outflows 177800 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows: 185500 cusecs and Outflows 175000 cusecs, Taunsa: 165500 Inflows cusecs and Outflows 139400 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 120900 cusecs and Outflows 86200 cusecs Sukkur: Inflows 82400 cusecs and Outflows 35000 cusecs Kotri: Inflows 31200 cusecs and Outflows 800 cusecs, Trimmu: Inflows 11000 cusecs and Outflows: NIL, Punjnad Inflows 9800 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs.

Reservoirs (Level and Storage):

Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1402 feet, present level 1458.35 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.356 MAF.

Mangla: Minimum operating level 1050 feet, present level 1170.10 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.590 MAF.

Chashma: Minimum operating level 638.15 feet, present level 643.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.099 MAF.

The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela, Jinnah and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
