Islamabad: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert Khorev called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday.

Ishaq Dar appreciated the positive momentum in bilateral ties and stressed the importance of continued cooperation in key areas, as well as sustained high-level exchanges, to further strengthen Pakistan-Russia relations.

Regional developments also figured in the discussion. DPM/FM underscored Pakistan's consistent view that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only way forward for resolving differences and promoting regional peace and stability.
