Islamabad: Rwanda is poised to become the business hub of Africa, said Hussnain Kazmi, Member Advisory Board and Head of Strategy and Transformation of 'The SK Hub', United Kingdom, after his meeting with Fatou Hareimana, Ambassador of Rwanda in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Kazmi was called on by Ms. Fatou Hareimana during his visit to Pakistan. Discussions centered around a wide range of opportunities spanning education, technology, real estate, healthcare, and the establishment of Africa House to facilitate import and export activities. She highlighted that within just a few months of establishing the Rwandan High Commission in Pakistan, significant potential for collaboration across various business sectors has already been observed.

With a population of approximately 14 million and one of Africa's fastest-growing economies, Rwanda has been experiencing an impressive GDP growth rate, averaging around 7-8% annually. This economic momentum positions Rwanda as an attractive destination for investment and trade partnerships.

Hussnain Kazmi expressed keen interest in visiting Rwanda to explore ways to enhance trade relations and strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. As a former Pakistan federal government technocrat, he sees immense potential not only for collaboration between Pakistan and Rwanda but also for engaging stakeholders from Europe.

His recent visit to Pakistan focused on exploring opportunities in youth development, higher education, IT, healthcare, research, and trade. Hussnain Kazmi assured Ms. Fatou Hareimana of his commitment to visiting Rwanda to further explore and formalize avenues for mutual business and developmental benefits.
