Saudi Investor Asyad Group Plans Further Investment in Pakistan

Islamabad: Saudi investor Asyad Group has expressed plans to further expand its investment footprint in Pakistan and reaffirmed its long-term confidence in the country's economic and investment potential. Asyad Group CEO Ghassan Ahmed Amodi shared the group's investment plans during a meeting with Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.

The group, through its subsidiary Wafi Energy Pakistan, plans to explore additional investment opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in the energy, aviation and financial sectors.

Asyad Group views Pakistan as a strategic long-term investment destination and has expressed interest in participating in the upcoming airport privatisation process, alongside continued expansion of Wafi Energy's operations in the country.

The group's plans represent another indication of growing confidence among Saudi private-sector investors in Pakistan's economic outlook and investment potential.
