Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) Registrar Office has allotted number to contempt of court petition related to shifting of PTI founder to hospital.

The petition filed by Uzma Khan has been allotted number 8/2026.

Uzma Khan has already filed petition seeking hearing of this petition early.

The petition said the health of PTI founder is becoming deteriorated. The matter of early hearing is linked to his health and life.

It was said in the petition government had not complied with the court's orders. If any explanation was required then court should have been approached. The court's decision cannot be deviated.

The petitioner has requested the court the contempt of court plea be fixed for hearing this week.
