Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) bench hearing the case regarding power of jurisdiction under article 191-A has been dissolved.
SC 3-member regular bench has directed registrar SC to fix the case before the bench which heard the case on January 13, 2025.
The court said in its orders the hearing of the case is adjourned till Monday.
The previous hearing had taken place on January 13 wherein Justice Irfan Saadat was part of the bench. When the case was fixed again then Justice Aqeel Abbasi is part of the bench in place of justice Irfan Saadat Khan.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah remarked question in this case is " can regular bench settle jurisdiction power or otherwise under article 191-A.
He gave these remarks while presiding over 3 members bench of SC during the hearing of the case Thursday.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah remarked SC office has erred. The case has not been fixed before that 3-member bench which heard the case on January 13, 2025.
Additional Attorney General (AAG) Amir Rehman said give us some time.
Justice Ayesha Malik remarked let Monday come first then we see the case.
