Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has adjourned hearing of Judges Transfer case till May 7.

Munir A Malik counsel for the petitioner said while giving arguments there is contradiction too in judges transfer summary of law ministry.

Justice Salah ud Din Panhwar said mention of interior Sindh was made in the summary which was prepared first. This can be mistake unknowingly that Sindh was written instead of interior Sindh. Karachi is written separately from interior Sindh.

Judges transfer case came up for hearing in SC constitutional bench headed by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar Wednesday.

Counsel Munir A Malik said there is contradiction in judges transfer summary of law ministry.

Law secretary wrote to Chief Justice Islamabad High Court that there is no judge from Sindh. It was written to Chief Justice of Pakistan too that there is no judge from Sindh in Islamabad High Court

Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar remarked you want to say this that high court judge Saman Rafat belongs to Sindh. Justice Saman Rafat belongs to Karachi.

Justice Salah ud Din Panhwar said mention of interior Sindh was made in the summary which was prepared first. This mistake can take place unknowingly that Sindh instead of interior Sind was written. Karachi is written separately from interior Sindh.

Munir A Malik said the errors reflect incompetence and insincerity of government.

The hearing of judges transfer case was adjourned till May 7.
