Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has given four weeks time to government to auction Royal Palm Club.Justice Amin ud Din Khan head of SC constitutional bench has remarked deviation from law and constitution means proving law and constitution a failure.Justice Jamal Mandokhail remarked when the institutions don't work then space stands created. Every institution should do its job.SC constitutional bench presided over by justice Amin ud Din Khan took up the case for hearing Wednesday.Additional Attorney General (AAG) said bidding of Royal Palm Club has been held. 11 companies had shown interest in the advertisement. Bidding of Palm Club was given by only one company.Justice Amin ud Din remarked we want this issue be resolved.AAG said report will be filed in the court on finalization of bidding. The whole process will be completed within 3 weeks.Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar remarked court took suo motu notice and now it is being said bidding lower than earlier came. If t he bidding has come less than earlier then what decision was made of this case.Representative of committee said audit ordered by court has been completed.Counsel Ali Zafar said this case is running since 2019 for implementation. New concept of implementation has come in SC.Justice Jamal Mandokhail remarked are we successful or unsuccessful in new concept of implementation.The court adjourned the hearing of the case for four weeks.
