Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) while announcing decision on review petitions of restaurants operating in national park area has upheld its decision in connection with closure of the restaurants in park area.SC dismissed the review petitions of restaurants located in national park area.SC withdrew its observation given in favor of the restaurants in national park area.The court withdrew its observation on giving preference to these restaurants while giving land on lease at some other place.It was said in the decision that restaurants operating in national park area assured about their abolition within 3 months. Filing review petition after giving assurance to the court is joke with court.The decision further said filing review petition after giving assurance for closing hotels within three months voluntarily is very insulting.SC had directed CDA to lease out land to these restaurants in other places on priority basis. SC expunges its decision on providing land to these restaurants on lease on priority basis. SC decision be implemented in letter and spirit.
