Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has fixed for hearing government appeal pleas seeking cancellation of bail of persons accused in May 9 incident.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) will hear appeals from March 10.

The other members of bench are justice Musarrat Hilali and justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb.

It is pertinent to mention here that government of Punjab has resorted to court for cancellation of the bail in respect of persons accused in May 9 incident.

Hearing of 16 appeals seeking revocation of bail will take place on March 11.

A 3-member bench of SC will hear 8 appeals seeking cancellation of bail of accused in May 9 incident on March 12.
