Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has removed registrar office objections on the petitions seeking constitution of Judicial Commission (JC) to investigate allegation of rigging in general election.

The court ordered registrar office to mark number on the petitions remarking the lawyers should appear on next hearing well prepared.

Counsel Sher Afzal Marwat had argued during the hearing of the case there is no justification for judicial objection on administrative side. Therefore, the objections be removed.

The court accepted Sher Afzal advocate plea.

A 5-member SC constitutional bench presided over by Justice Amin ud Din Khan adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.

PTI founder and Sher Afzal Marwat had resorted to SC for constitution of Judicial Commission (JC) on allegations against rigging in general election.

Registrar office had returned the petitions after raising objections.
