Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has sought explanation from the petitioner Ehtesham ul Haq about mentioning 50000 euros in Nikahnama.The petitioner has been directed to tell the court was all this recorded in Nikah Nama and if it all was recorded then what is his stance about it.A two members bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi took up for hearing Ehtesham ul Haq versus Saman Talha case Thursday.The court remarked how can we interfere in family matters. High Court has upheld appellate court order. We will prefer appellate court order.The rival counsel of the petitioner told the court 1000 euros have been written in nikah nama despite the fact it was said that if the petitioner divorces then he will have to give 50000 euro. The superior judiciary has written in its decisions that the matters mentioned in Nikah Nama will be reviewed and decision will be given according to it.The court remarked why are you saying this.The counsel said he is narrating legal point.The court while issuing notice has sought explanation from the petitioner in this connection.
