Rawalpindi: Second investigation officer of GHQ attack case has been changed and the investigation has been assigned to inspector Tariq Gondal.

According to media reports the second investigation officer inspector Nazim Shah has been retired on completion of his service tenure, First investigation officer Mirza Javed was separated from investigation due to his promotion to the rank of DSP.

According to police sources inspector Tariq Gondal is investigation officer in two cases related to May 9 incident. He is investigation officer in attack on Waris Khan metro station and rioting and siege and arson in Liaqat Bagh May 9 related case as well.
