Rawalpindi: On 24-25 December 2024, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in general area Sararogha, South Waziristan District on reported presence of terrorists.According to the statement issued by the ISPR, during the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged terrorists location, as a result of which, 13 terrorists were killed.Killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians.Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, as security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country.Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday paid tribute to the security forces for killing 13 terrorists during the operation in Sararogha area of South Waziristan.In separate statements, the president and prime minister appreciated the bravery of the security forces for killing the terrorists during a successful intelligence-based operation.Both the dignitaries reiterated their commitment to the complete elimination of terrorists from the country.'Security forces are conducting operations to eliminate the scourge of terrorism. The entire nation is united against terrorism and actions against terrorists will continue until the complete end of terrorism,' the president said.'The security forces will continue to crush the nefarious intentions of the enemies of humanity in the same way. The nation is proud of the fearless youth of the security forces,' the prime minister said.Meanwhile Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has praised the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists in South Waziristan. He commended the security forces for killing 13 terrorists, saying that Pakistan's brave security forces have thwarted the nefarious designs of terrorists through their timely operation.Mohsin Naqvi said that the nation is proud of i ts brave security forces, who have achieved significant successes against terrorists. He added that the Pakistani people stand with the security forces, and the nation looks at their successes with huge admiration and respect. He emphasized that, God willing, we will completely eliminate terrorists with the support of the people.
