Rawalpindi/islamabad: On 05 March 2025, 15 terrorists belonging to Indian proxy were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan. According to the statement issued by the ISPR, an intelligence based operation (IBO) was conducted in Harnai District on reported presence of terrorists. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorist Hideout and after an intense engagement, 12 Indian sponsored terrorists were killed.
Another intelligence based operation (IBO) was conducted in Basima District. During the conduct of operation, own forces tracked presence of terrorists and effectively engaged them using mix calibre weapons. After an intense fire exchange, three Indian sponsored terrorists were killed.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision 'Azm e Istehkam' (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for successful operations against terrorists in Balochistan.
In his statement, the President said elimination of terrorists operating under Indian patronage in the intelligence based operations demonstrate the professional capability and determination of security forces. He said eliminating foreign backed terrorism remains the top priority.
The President said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the unwavering commitment to protect the homeland.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted the security forces are achieving significant successes against terrorism. He expressed the firm commitment to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.
