Islamabad: Security Forces have been conducting a series of retribution operations against the terrorists involved in heinous incident that occurred in Orakzai District on 7 October, resulting in the shahadat of brave sons of soil, including Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq and Major Tayyab Rahat.
According to the statement issued by the ISPR, during the conduct of operation, based on credible intelligence, in general area Jamal Maya, Orakzai District, after intense fire exchanges, all 30 Indian sponsored terrorists involved in the Terrorist incident have been killed. These successful operations have avenged the heinous act and have brought the main perpetrators to justice.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to hunt and eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined and remain steadfast to eradicate and wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for their brave and successful operation against Indian-backed terrorists in district Orakzai.
In their separate statements, they paid tribute to the armed forces for busting the network of Indian sponsored terrorists.
The president said the incessant successes against terrorism are a symbol of our unwavering resolve.
The Prime Minister, in his statement, said the officers and personnel of the security forces are engaged in safeguarding the motherland against the enemy by risking their lives. He reiterated government's resolve to stamp out the menace of terrorism from the country.
