Rawalpindi: Thirty-two terrorists were killed by the security forces during multiple intelligence based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
According to ISPR, twenty-four terrorists were killed in Khyber district last night. Meanwhile, security forces also conducted multiple intelligence-based operations in District Nushki of Balochistan where after an intense engagement eight terrorists were killed. Weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices used by terrorists were also recovered and destroyed during operations.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam,” as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces and law enforcement agencies for successful intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
In separate statements, they appreciated the professional capabilities of the security forces for killing 32 terrorists.
The President said the nefarious intentions of terrorist elements operating under the patronage of India will be thwarted at all costs. He said every conspiracy against Pakistan’s peace, stability and sovereignty will be thwarted through the national resolve and the professional capabilities of the security forces.
The Prime Minister said the fight against the menace of terrorism will continue until it is completely eradicated from the country. He said the entire nation stands by the Pakistani armed forces in their unwavering resolve to protect the motherland.
