Islamabad: On Sunday, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Pishin District of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists, belonging to Indian proxy.
According to the statement issued by the ISPR, during the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the entire tashkeel with multiple weapons. After an intense fire exchange, Suicide Bomber cowardly blew himself up and four other Indian sponsored terrorists were hunted down and were killed.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision "Azm e Istehkam" (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for their successful operation against the terrorists in the Pishin district.
In a statement, the President said intelligence-based operation against the Indian-backed terrorists reflects the nation's resolve in the fight against terrorism. He said the war against terrorism will continue until the complete eradication of this menace.
In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said our security forces are making great progress against terrorist groups every single day with courage, determination and strength.
The Prime Minister said the entire nation stands with armed forces and law enforcement authorities in the war against terrorists.
Meanwhile ½Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to the security forces for successfully eliminating five terrorists in an operation in Pishin.

½Interior Minister commended the security forces for their successful operation against the terrorists and praised their professional capabilities in bringing the five militants to a decisive end. He stated that the nation takes pride in the courage and professionalism of its security forces.

½Mohsin Naqvi further said that the brave personnel acted in a timely manner and thwarted the nefarious designs of the terrorists. The successful operations of the security forces for maintaining peace in Balochistan are commendable.
