Rawalpindi/islamabad: Four Indian-sponsored terrorists have been killed during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district of Balochistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kalat District of Balochistan on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location and resultantly killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorist found in the area.
The relentless counterterrorism campaign, under vision "Azm e Istehkam" (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan), by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the officers and officials of the security forces for successful operation against terrorists in Kalat district of Balochistan.
In their separate statements, they expressed the resolve to continue operations till complete elimination of the scourge of terrorists from the country.
The President, in his statement, termed the neutralizing of four Indian-backed terrorists as a significant achievement for national security. He appreciated the resolve and commitment of security forces and law enforcement agencies.
President Asif Ali Zardari termed the continuity of operation "Azm-e-Istehkam" against anti-state elements as indispensible for the national security.
In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the entire nation, including he himself, stands shoulder to shoulder by the armed forces of Pakistan in their unwavering resolve for security of the motherland.
