Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested senior journalist Mati Ullah Jan at E-9 check post. According to FIR, the police signaled his car to stop at Islamabad barricade. Constable Mudassar who was on duty was injured being hit by car. As soon as the car halted, Mati Ullah Jan snatched weapons from the constable and threatened to kill him. As per FIA Mati Ullah Jan was intoxicated. Case has been registered against Mati Ullah Jan. He has been shifted to police station Margalla. According to FIR legal proceeding is being initiated. Mati Ullah Jan will be presented in Anti Terrorism Court Islamabad today.
