Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that on September 20, 2025, Pakistani security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan District on confirmed information regarding the presence of militants belonging to the Indian proxy group 'Fitna al-Khwarij.'

During the operation, troops engaged the militants' hideout, killing seven Indian-sponsored terrorists, including three Afghan nationals and two suicide bombers.

The ISPR statement stressed that Pakistan expects the Interim Afghan Government to prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

A sanitization operation is ongoing in the area to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining militants. The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan's security forces remain resolute in eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
