Bannu: 7 were killed and one was injured in firing by terrorists on an office of the peace committee in an area of Bannu.

Police said terrorists attacked office of Peace committee over night. Investigation into attack has been started. Bodies and injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ).

According to police the armed persons targeted office of chief of Peace Committee Qari Jalil.

The victims are included Danish, Kamran, Waliullah, Sufyan, Muhammad Niaz, Noman and Sufyan.

Further investigations into incident by police are underway.

Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the attack on office of Peace Committee by Fitna Alkhwaraj.

He has expressed deep grief of loss of lives in the attack. This cowardly act is a nefarious attempt to cause harm to peace and stability. Such cowardly acts cannot waver the courage and resolve of people.
