Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has issued short order on the petition filed against sharing immoral material on tiktok.The court has issued notice to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) besides seeking report .It has been said in the order PTA should file detailed report about installation of firewall for blocking immoral material on social media.According to PTA, Firewall is being installed to block uploading of illegal material on social media platforms.It has been said in the court's order the counsel for the petitioner told the court a new authority has been constituted for social media recently.The counsel sought time to make this new authority respondent.The court approved this plea.The counsel for the petitioner took the plea immoral and obscene material is being shared on social media. While unethical talk and immoral gestures are made in tik tok live sessions which are leaving negative impact on society.Hearing of the petition was adjourned till February 11.
