Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) constitutional bench has expressed resentment over federal interior secretary for not removing the name of petitioner from the black list.
The court remarked if name of petitioner is not removed from blacklist within a week then arrest warrants will be issued.
Justice Adnan ul Karim remarked arrest warrants are not being issued on the assurance of Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Khaliq Ahmad.
The counsel for the petitioner said in the arguments federal interior secretary Capt (Retd) Khurram Agha did not comply with the court’s orders. Federal secretary even did not give reply to court’s notice.
It is pertinent to mention here that court had ordered to remove the name of Muhammad Irfan from black list. Muhammad Irfan is settled outside the country.
