Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued arrest warrants of chairman of respective UC while expressing resentment over the matter of declaring one wife dead of a retired employee and giving pension to first wife.The petition filed by Safia Begum came up for hearing in the court.The petitioner took the plea her pension has been transferred to second wife by showing her dead in NADRA and Union Council record.The counsel for the petitioner told the court husband of his plaintiff had contracted 3 marriages. As per NADRA Union Council Safia Begum has passed away.Counsel for NADRA took the plea NADRA verifies only Online record. As per Union council record death of the woman has been shown.SHC while issuing arrest warrants of UC chairman Saleh Muhammad has summoned him in person on next hearing.The court adjourned further hearing of the case till September 9.
