Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has sought reply from the respondents for freezing bank accounts of former president Arif Alvi and his family members.

During the hearing of the case in SHC, counsel for former president told the court that bank accounts of former president, his wife and children have been freezed. FIA has freezed bank accounts of entire family on the basis of inquiry.

The court remarked we seek reply by issuing notice to the respondents.

The counsel said it has become difficult to meet the daily expenses because of freezing of bank accounts of entire family.

The court inquired fee will have been paid to you.

The counsel for the petitioner said I am contesting this case without fee.

The court remarked let the reply of respondents come and then we see.

Later the court issued notice to the respondents and sought reply till June 05.
