Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has been moved against deaths due to dumper trucks related accidents.

,A petition in this regard has been filed by Ashraf Jabbar Qureshi from Tehreek-e-Bihali Karachi and others in SHC making chief secretary Sindh, home secretary, IG Sindh and others respondents.

The petition said majority of dumper drivers do not abide by traffic rules which is causing loss of precious lives.

The petitioner requested the court that complete record about registration and fitness of dumpers be called and the respondents be ordered to ensure implementation of Supreme Court and High Court orders.

It may be mentioned that dumper tankers accidents have claimed 168 lives so far this year.
