Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has suspended Sindh ombudsman decision against Moonis Elahi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) K-Electric in harassment case.

The case was filed by former woman officer of K-Electric against CEO Moonis Elahi.

Moonis Elahi had challenged Sindh ombudsman decision in SHC .

CEO K-Electric Moonis Alvi appeared in the court along with his counsel Barrister Abid Zubairi.

The court ordered Moonis Elahi to deposit Rs 25 lac with Nazir SHC against the fine imposed on him.

SHC stays the implementation of Ombudsman decision on removing Moonis Alvi till next hearing. The court while issuing notice to Sindh Ombudsman and complainant has sought reply.
