Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment in the case related to shifting 3 general prisoners to private hospital and arranging their telephonic conversation outside the country on completion of arguments from counsels for the petitioners, Advocate General (AG) Islamabad and AG Punjab.
Justice Muhammad Asif remarked if some prisoner falls ill then what will you do. You cannot play with the disease of prisoner. Where it is written in law the meeting with family members cannot be arranged. See the condition of PIMS hospital. It has reached what condition.
He gave these remarks during hearing of the case on Thursday.
AG Punjab, AG Islamabad opposed the pleas of 3 prisoners in connection with their treatment in private hospital.
AG Punjab said we are implementing the manual what was formed by the English person. We are now changing law in Punjab.

The court inquired if some one says there is no one from his family here even then his telephonic talks outside Pakistan will not be arranged.
Justice Muhammad raised question if it is required for some prisoner that some doctor comes from Karachi then what will happen. If some prisoner is at last stage and is about to die then will law be seen. If some one is death convict and expresses his last wish then what will happen.
AG Islamabad said the entire system is laid down in jail rules.
The court reserved judgment on completion of arguments of counsels of petitioners, AG Punjab and AG Islamabad.
