Since Pahalgam incident, over 2,500 Kashmiris arbitrarily detained, 36 homes destroyed by Indian forces

Islamabad: India has continued to use state terrorism as official policy to collectively punish Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to media reports, a fresh wave of brutal repression has gripped IIOJK following the April 22 Pahalgam false flag operation. Since the Pahalgam incident, over 2,500 Kashmiris have been arbitrarily detained and 36 homes destroyed by Indian forces.

The Modi regime is deploying every tool of state oppression to crush the Kashmiris' freedom movement and fake encounters, extrajudicial killings, cordon and search operations and mass raids have become the norm in the occupied territory. In April alone, nine Kashmiris were martyred and properties of 31 civilians seized across IIOJK.
