Karachi: Sindh government budget for the financial year 2026-27 is likely to be presented in Sindh Assembly (SA) next week. According to media reports June 16 and 17 are under consideration for presentation of budget.

Sindh government has said budget preparation process was delayed due to IMF conditions and implementation of national fiscal pact. However, government is striving to get pass the budget from Sindh Assembly before Ashura Muharram. According to SA rules and regulations holding budget debate for 5 days is compulsory. later the process of approval of budget is completed.
