Islamabad: Sindh government has challenged in Supreme Court (SC) the decision of dismissing the case of making inappropriate statement by Sheikh Rashid against Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.Sindh government has filed petition against chairman Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid in SC.The petition said June 25 decision of Islamabad High Court (IHC) runs contrary to law which should be nullified. The judge did not apply his mind by hearing the case in chamber.It has been said in the petition that Sheikh Rashid used inappropriate language before media against Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and provoked party workers. Bilawal Bhutto is chairman of a larger political party and former foreign minister. Using inappropriate language against him can create bad situation.The petition further said the IHC decision for dismissing the case is against the law and it needs to be investigated further.The accused has admitted his offence. Proceedings can be initiated on the basis of its effects on other side in the event of commission of a crime. IHC transgressed its powers.
