Islamabad: With Reference, National Assembly Secretariat, meeting notice for 3rd September 2026 (Annex-A) regrettably, the PSM is not at the agenda items, and situation at PSM is persistently deteriorating, management structure is nonexistent its financial accounts data since July 2023, is not available, thefts of precious materials and land grabbing details have not been reflected in books of accounts.
The PSM 'revival' roadmap adopted by the MOIandP, is leading to further financial disaster. The performance of MOIandP, costs to PSM during July 2008 to 2026, is allegedly more than Rs. 800 billion + costs to public exchequer is allegedly more than $ 20 billion. We, 'Request for Monitoring the Performance of MOIandP, Performance Costs to Country Economy/Public Exchequer - Appropriate Recommendations to the Government for PSM Revival and Accountability' to save the country future from total economic collapse.
The profit earning PSM has been deliberately destroyed during 2006-2026 to benefit the private sectors few selected companies. The MOIandP, be asked to submit the PSM audited Key Performance Indicators (KPI) comparative statement from 1985 to 2026, for evaluation of its potential is an 'Asset' or a 'Financial Liability'. It will help the NA Standing Committee in deciding the 'Future of PSM' as desired by the SIFC APEX Committee. We, addressed the letters to PSM and the Government but remained unnoticed as yet (Annex-B and C).
We, are available to counter the false narrative of private sector vested interests against the PSM and their counter-part facilitators in the power corridor, who remained unaccountable despite Prime Minister direction to FIA and Supreme Court observation vide its judgement CP 9/2006, direction to NAB on 16-5-2012 and complaints forwarded to the FIA by the Public Accounts Committee. The presence of chairman BOD/executives' officials will be appreciated.
