Islamabad: The 10th meeting of the Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) was held today at the Ministry of IPC, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad, under the chairmanship of Mr. Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, MNA.

During the meeting, the Convener presented the report of the Sub-Committee, which stated that the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has agreed to conduct scrutiny of clubs and hold elections of the Federation. The Committee was informed that the announcement regarding the election of the PHF Chairman will be made at the upcoming meeting scheduled for November 7, 2025.

The Committee also discussed matters related to the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and offered several suggestions for improving the functioning of both PSB and PHF. Questions raised by the Committee members were duly answered by representatives from the Ministry of IPC and its attached departments.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Anjum Aqeel Khan, Mr. Waseem Qadir, Mr. Haji Rasool Bax Chandio, Ms. Syeda Shehla Raza, Dr. Mahreen Razzaq Bhutto, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Mr. Khawaja Izhar Ul Hassan, Mr. Syed Samiullah, and senior officers from the Ministry of IPC.
