Faisalabad: Fine amounting to Rs 50000 has been imposed on state minister for interior Talal Chaudhry for violating election code of conduct.

District Monitoring Officer Faisalabad sent letter to secretary Election Commission (EC) stating that election code of conduct was being violated persistently by Talal Chaudhry. He was informed about it by telephone.

It was said in the letter that Talal Chauhry did not abide by election code of conduct despite notices. Later he was fined.

District monitoring officer further said the matter is being sent to election commission for further action.
