Supdt, deputy supdt Adiala Jail put on notice for preventing Faisal Ch, Naeem Panjutha advocates from entering into jail

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to superintendent and deputy superintendent Adiala jail and Advocate General (AG) Islamabad for preventing advocate Faisal Chaudhry and Naeem Panjutha from going to Adiala jail.The court has sought reply till September 6.Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan remarked court's proceedings will be considered of no legal standing in the absence of lawyers.He gave these remarks during the hearing of the petition on Wednesday here.Advocate Faisal Chaudhry appeared in the court taking the plea court had ordered the lawyers would be allowed to enter into jail. The PTI founder had nominated me his counsel in jail trial. There is another counsel with me as well who is not being allowed to enter into Adiala jail.The court inquired since how long they are not being allowed to enter into jail.Faisal Chaudhry said they were not allowed to enter into jail after August 26.The court inquired for how many time they were not allowed to enter into jail.The co unsel told they were not allowed for two time. Jail trial will be conducted open as per decisions of this court.Justice Ishaq Khan remarked the court's proceedings will be considered of no legal standing in the absence of lawyers.The court while issuing notice to respondents adjourned the hearing till September 6.
