Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has officially inaugurated its 57th hospital in Gujrat as part of its ongoing commitment to providing modern and accessible healthcare services to the public across Pakistan, irrespective of socio-economic background.The inauguration ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Chairman of Alkhidmat Health Services, Professor Dr. Zahid Latif, General Secretary of Alkhidmat Health Services, Dr. Abdul Rehman, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami North Punjab, Dr. Tariq Saleem, President Alkhidmat North Punjab, Rizwan Ahmed along with philanthropists and civil society representatives.Built over eight kanals of land at a cost of approximately Rs250 million, the hospital is equipped with 50 beds and offers a wide range of facilities, including OPD, IPD, gynecology, pediatrics, general surgery, laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, pharmacy, blood bank, and ambulance services.Speaking on the occasion, Syed Ihsan Ul lah Waqas reaffirmed Alkhidmat Foundation's mission to deliver quality healthcare to the underprivileged across the country, stating that all efforts are driven by a spirit of public service and the desire to earn the pleasure of Allah.Professor Dr. Zahid Latif shared an overview of Alkhidmat's national healthcare network, which currently includes 57 hospitals, 48 medical centers, 1,351 medical camps, 300 ambulances, 65 pharmacies, and 136 diagnostic and collection centers. He revealed that over 10 million patients benefited from Alkhidmat's services in the past year alone.Participants and donors lauded Alkhidmat Foundation's tireless humanitarian efforts and acknowledged its role as a leading organization in the field of public welfare and healthcare delivery in Pakistan.
