SIALKOT: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the tales of valour and courage shown by Pakistan's armed forces will be written in the books of history.

Talking to newsmen in Sialkot on Saturday, Khawaja Asif said the officers and soldiers fought courageously under the leadership of Pakistan's Armed Forces command. The Defence Minister emphasized the need to acquaint the younger generation with the true history of the nation.

He warned that if India resorts to aggression again, it will receive an even stronger response.

He said that the decisive turn came in Pakistan's history on the night of 10th May, adding that he congratulates services chiefs and armed forces personnel, adding that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif provided the leadership to the nation at every moment. He said that government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the defense of the country. He said that Modi is licking his wounds currently.
