Swat: Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi has said terrorism in Malakand division is result of poor policies of federal government.

In a statement here he said terrorism again is not acceptable at any cost. We will ensure peace at every cost.

He held those guarding the borders are `not playing their role in effective way.

He added peace is our top priority. The people will have to stand with police.

when 2026 was declared year of peace then terrorists are being released. Today Swat is affected. Tomorrow Bunir too can come in its grip.

We will not tolerate terrorism in KP any more. I promise we will restore peace in KP.

He observed federal government is form 47 government and it is not authorized to do governance.

Those whose job is not doing politics are doing politics. They are interfering in political matters. More stringent policy will have to be adopted for elimination of terrorism. There is no development without peace. We will further fortify police. Force has rendered unprecedented sacrifices.

He remarked police and CTD have basic role in the establishment of peace. If decisions are made behind closed doors then rebel will take birth.
