Lahore: Ameer of Tanzeem e Islami, Shujauddin Shaikh has expressed deep concern over the large-scale assault by Israeli fighter jets on Friday morning, during which Iran's nuclear facilities were targeted and the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was destroyed.

In a statement issued on Friday Shujauddin Shaikh said that IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami and several nuclear scientists were assassinated in targeted killings. Numerous other Iranian defense installations were also attacked, and residential areas were bombarded, resulting in civilian casualties. The Ameer remarked that Israel's declaration of war against Iran appears to be a part of a calculated strategy aimed at expanding the conflict in the Middle East to a global scale. He added that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's statement - that attacks on Iran would continue until Israel achieves its objectives - is tantamount to further fueling the flames of war. On the other hand, he described the U.S. claim that Israel launched the attack without prior notification as utterly false. He pointed out that Western nations, including the United States, had recalled their diplomatic staff from Gulf countries a day earlier, clearly indicating prior knowledge and complicity in this act of Israeli global te rrorism.

Shujauddin Shaikh criticized former President Trump for raising seemingly peaceful slogans while simultaneously supporting Zionist expansionist ambitions - particularly the establishment of a "Greater Israel" - through U.S. policies in Gaza, Lebanon, and now Iran. The Ameer warned that Israel's aggression could provoke a strong reaction from both Russia and China. He further noted that Iran may retaliate by targeting neighboring countries that host American military bases or have allowed their airspace to be used by Israel in its operations. He emphasized that Pakistan must remain highly vigilant, as the true objective of the "evil triad" - comprising Israel, the United States, and India - is the annihilation of Pakistan's nuclear program and its missile and drone technologies.

Shujauddin Shaikh concluded by asserting that it is now imperative for all Muslim nations to consider the Israeli attack on Iran as an attack on themselves and to unite in delivering a decisive and robust response to Israel and its allies.
