Islamabad: Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has sought arguments from NAB on jurisdiction powers regarding Toshakhana vehicles reference against President Asif Ali Zardari, Yousuf Raza Gillani and Nawaz Sharif on next hearing besides adjourning the hearing till October 30.Judge Abida Sajid took up for hearing Tosha Khana reference against Asif Zardari, Yousuf Raza Gillani and Nawaz Sharif Thursday.Arshid Tabrez counsel for president Asif Ali Zardari and Yousuf Raza Gillani and Qazi Misbah and Rana Irfan counsels for Nawaz Sharif appeared in the court.Counsel Qazi Misbah raised objection over the power of jurisdiction regarding reference after supreme court decision in connection with NAB amendment.Counsel for Nawaz Sharif said Toshakhan vehicles reference was sent back to NAB on December 21, 2022. Supreme Court (SC) gave a decision recently on NAB amendment.Power of jurisdiction regarding NAB reference does not rest with this court after the recent decision of SC.Counsel Qazi Misbah request ed the court to return the reference to NAB after SC decision.The court while directing defence counsel to file petition regarding power of jurisdiction adjourned the hearing of the case till October 30.
